Legends & Lore of Winter with Chad Lewis

February 8 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Jackson County Library

Join us at the Jackson County Library System on Wednesday, February 8 to listen to Chad Lewis as he takes us on a journey into the Legends and Lore of Winter. Winter may seem like a quiet time, but it is actually filled with bizarre tales and stories of superstitions to cause a school snow day, winter spirits, odd Santa Claus tales, the deadly Wendigo and numerous other Holiday traditions for the darkest days of the year! Chad is a researcher and lecturer who has been featured on shows such as ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ and has authored several books on paranormal investigations.

This monthly adult program is free and will be held on Wednesday, February 8 at the Jackson Library at 12:00 p.m., the Lakefield Library at 2:00 p.m. and the Heron Lake Library at 5:30 p.m.

This project is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund. No registration is required for this program. Please call or stop in to your local library to register or for more information.
