This program will be presented by Bud and Rona Johnston of Pipestone, who are members of the Keepers of the Sacred Tradition of Pipemakers. Bud and Rona will discuss the history of the Pipestone Quarries along with the sacred items that are carved from the stone.
Tribal History of the Pipestone Quarries and Pipestone Pipes is a free program funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
