State Park Library Pass Program

The Department of Natural Resources is expanding and continuing its State Park Library Pass program through 2025. Plum Creek Library System will have 10 passes available for check-out at select libraries.

Jackson County Library
• Lake Benton Public Library
• Lamberton Public Library
• Marshall-Lyon County Library
• Morgan Public Library
• Nobles County Library
• Rock County Community
• Windom Public Library

Anyone with a Plum Creek Library card will be able to check out the passes for free! Once checked out, patrons simply have to display the pass on their vehicle’s dashboard. The passes are good for seven days at any state park or recreation area in the state!

The primary goal of offering this program is to ensure that all Minnesotans have access to our state parks, regardless of their budget. The program focuses on offering park passes in lower-income cities across the state, based on the location of schools with high enrollment in the free and reduced lunch program and/or with a median annual household income of $58,000 or less.

Check the DNR website for more information: www.mndnr.gov/librarypass

State park passes will be available to reserve June 1st.
